Welcome! Please read the following policies and procedures. These are structured to make your vacation with us a great experience.
RESERVATIONS: Reservation information is available by phone. Please call (910)458-4028 locally or 1-800-327-5863 from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 1-5 p.m. on Sunday (IN SEASON). An advanced rental payment of $250-$500 MUST be received within 10 days of making a reservation. Upon receipt of your advanced rental payment and signed VRA contract, confirmation will be mailed. Advanced rental payment may be made by money order, certified bank funds, MasterCard, Visa, Discover or personal check. YOUR BALANCE WILL BE DUE NO LATER THAN 30 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL DATE.
RESERVATION FEE: Due to increased operating expenses, a reservation fee of $25 is added to every reservation.
CHECK-IN TIME: After 3 p.m. (arrangements for late key can be made).
CHECK-OUT TIME: Before 11 a.m. NO EXCEPTIONS!
DEPARTURE CLEANING: You are required to leave the rental property fully cleaned and ready for the next guest. If you wish to have departure maid service, please schedule when making your reservation. In either case you are to take out the trash and leave the dishes clean. Please inquire when making your reservation.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: All properties are privately owned. A $100-$200 security deposit is required on all reservations. Refund of deposit mailed 45 days after checkout, provided keys are returned to our office by 11 a.m., property is left in good condition and the inventory is intact. The guest will be liable for any damages or breakage in excess of this amount, and for missing items. Deposits are not returned on departure.
LINEN RENTAL: Linens (sheets and towels) are available upon request. Please contact TBW's Beach Rentals at 910-399-1218 or 910-297-1024. Pillows, blankets and comforters are furnished in the rental property.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: As indicated per property by State Law. Violators are subject to eviction without refund. Rental agents check properties.
PETS: Unless otherwise described as pet friendly, no pets are allowed on the property. Violation will result in immediated rental termination without refund.
AGE RESTRICTIONS: To ensure a family atmosphere, guests must be 25 years of age or accompanied by a parent. HOUSE PARTIES ARE NOT ALLOWED. Bullard Realty, Inc., has the right to terminate rental, without refund, if, in our opinion, the renter is detrimental to the property.
CANCELLATIONS AND TRANSFERS: No refunds due to cancellation unless the property is re-rented in full. If we re-rent the property, your advanced payment, less a $100 cancellation fee will be returned to you. YOU WILL NOT BE ENTITLED TO ANY REIMBURSEMENT OF DEPOSIT IF THE PROPERTY IS NOT RERENTED FOR THE EXACT TIME PERIOD. We reserve the right to transfer your reservation to another property should the property you have chosen became available.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: Travel Guard Protect Assist Insurance offers travel insurance. Information on Travel insurance will be mailed to you. It is your responsibility to contact the insurance agent, if you wish to acquire insurance. In case of unforeseen events this travel insurance helps protect your vacation investment. If you choose not to purchase this coverage, no refund will be given in the event of unforeseeable cancellations including hurricane evacuations. Travel insurance cannot be purchased after your final balance is paid. Website available at www.pleasureislandinsurance.com
NC TAX: A 14% tax is added to all rentals of 90 days or less (8% state sales tax and 6% accommodations tax) on Carolina and Kure Beach properties. Subject to change according to law.
LOCKOUTS: Please be responsible for property keys. If you are locked out during office hours, a key will be provided for you, with proof of proper identification. If you are locked out after office hours, there will be a $35 lockout fee at time of lockout.
TELEPHONES: Phones are provided by the owner of most properties. Long distance calls under any circumstances are not charged to the property phone. Please be prepared to place long distance calls on your calling or credit card. Property phone numbers are provided on your confirmation for your convenience.
SMOKE DETECTORS: For your protection, smoke detectors are provided in each rental property. Please check smoke detectors immediately after checking in, and report non-working detectors to the rental office. Battery replacement for detectors are the responsiblity of the tenant.
PARKING: Limited to 2 cars at all properties. Parking of boats trailers and R.V.s are restricted. TOWING ENFORCED! Paid Additional parking is available at Bullard Realty upon request.
INTERNET: Most of our properties have high speed internet. Please inquire when making your reservation.
DISCLOSURE: We are the agents of the various owners and their properties, obligated to work in the best interests of the owners while treating our rental guests honestly.
